The 15th Meeting of Sheikh University Board was Held In Berbera, 18th Oct. 2020

The SUNSAT board of committee holds work meetings on monthly basis on various locations. The 15^th meeting of the board was held in the Berbera economic forum office near the Berbera public library.

Among the participated board members in the meeting were higher government officials including H.E Saad Ali (minister for finance Development), Abdishakur Cidin (the Mayor of Berbera), Ahmed Mohamed (the governor of Sahel Region) and others. The board had discussed topics regarding the university establishment activities. Among the agenda topics discussed in the meeting included:

• A research study conducted for the university proposed programs (Geology, Hydrology and Water Technology, ICT and Environmental Science): The independent senior lead researcher Warsame who was hired to conduct this research presented his findings to the board.
• The progress of the university fence construction in sheikh.
• The fundraising mission to collect contributions required for the construction of the university compass in sheikh.
